TRAINING FOR DELAY TRAINERS – 4 days – over 2 modules
Liverpool
21st and 22nd April 2010
5th and 6th May 2010
£425 per person

Training Trainers courses are split into 2 modules. The first module consists of the 2-day “RU Ready?” course, to allow the group to experience the training themselves as participants.  The second 2-day module is called ‘Training It’. This trains participants to deliver the 2-day “RU Ready” course and to work with its exercises and materials. Delay courses equip those working in Sexual Health Services, PSHE and SRE, Teenage Pregnancy and Youth Work with the understanding and skills to help support young people to delay sex, until they feel genuinely ready to make positive and informed choices.  These approaches are designed to give staff practical strategies for discussing delay while continuing to offer excellent SRE and confidential contraceptive and sexual health advice, services and support to those who choose to become sexually active.

The cost of the course is £425 per person - to include refreshments, all course materials and handouts and a copy of the Training Delay Trainers manual.
