Providers of Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG)
services offer support and training for careers
education.
Your local IAG provider will be the local authority itself, or a
Connexions service or career guidance company commissioned to
provide services by the local authority. They should have advisers
for careers education and the personal advisers working in your
schools should know how to contact them.
Also, the Association for Careers Education and Guidance
http://www.aceg.org.uk have a
network of regional contacts who can offer support to teachers and
others involved in careers education.
