Brook’s Exceptional Achievement Awards Dinner and Conference

12th & 13th Feb 2008, Two-day event.

It’s time to recognise and reward the achievements of people working in sexual health. Whether it is a professional or an exceptional young person whose contribution to Brook deserves to be celebrated, now is your chance to show your appreciation and highlight their efforts in serving their community and improving young people’s sexual health. Nominate your awards winners, by 30th November 2007. Categories are:

Sexual Health Service of the Year
Professional of the Year
Young Person of the Year
Brook Innovation and Creativity Awar
Outreach of the Year and Intervention of the Year

Winners will be chosen by a panel of experts and celebrated at a celebrity dinner on 12th February 2008.

All nominees will also be recognised the following day – 13th February 2008 – at the conference ‘Good sex, safe sex - promoting safety, pleasure, respect and responsibility’

This year’s conference programme offers opportunities to discuss innovative ways of reaching young people with positive messages about enjoying sex safely, with guest speakers including Rebecca French, Senior Research fellow at UCL’s Centre for Sexual Health & HIV Research and Sam Roddick founder of Coco de Mer.

Developed in consultation with young people, the Awards and conference are sure to give you an insight into young attitudes within the UK.
