RoSPA and The PSHE Association invite you to a seminar: Risking it all in the revised curriculum?

When and Where?

10.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m. - June 9th 2008 - BDO Stoy Hayward, London W1U

10.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m. - June 13th 2008 - RoSPA Training Centre, Edgbaston, Birmingham

What?
An opportunity to review, reflect upon and plan CPD support for risk education in the new curriculum for secondary schools.

Who?
Senior practitioners, including PSHE education co-ordinators, Healthy School Co-ordinators.

Why?
Risk is a key concept and risk management is a key process in the new programmes of study for personal well being, and for economic well-being and financial capability. Research shows young people, teachers and the risk professionals understand risk differently. How can we help young people to learn about risk so that they can be healthy, stay safe, make a positive contribution, achieve economic well being and - enjoy and achieve?
