There are many Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
providers in the field of PSHE. We endeavour to give details of
current provision which we feel meet the criteria and standards
required for effective PSHE. The information provided here gives an
overview. To investigate whether the professional development
opportunities listed are appropriate and beneficial to your
individual circumstance contact the provider to find out

- PSHE certification for Community Nurses and
Teachers
This national programme, jointly funded by
DfES and DH, aims to improve confidence and effectiveness in the
delivery of PSHE. The programme has been running for four years and
to date 3,208 teachers and 604 community nurses have gained
certification. This programme of continuing professional
development (CPD) has been developed to enable you to gain
recognition of your experience in teaching personal, social and
health education. You will be fully supported by a local and
regional network to enhance your skills and confidence in
delivering this important curriculum area. More
- Workshops for professionals working with young
people
A variety of unique and inspirational in-house
workshops from experienced trainers Laura Farleigh and Sharon
Blacker, including sessions on Self Harm, Eating Disorders,
Developing Emotional Intellegence and Tools for Life.
