Course overview:

Teaching about relationships and sex is an integral part of a developmental PSHE education curriculum which contributes to safeguarding pupils. An effective approach will equip young people with the skills they need to successfully manage the potential challenges of relationships in the modern world. In March 2017, the government announced its intention to make Relationships Education statutory for all pupils in key stages 1 and 2, in all types of school. This one day training event will help you to evaluate your current provision in light of the new government guidance. It will focus on safe and effective planning, delivery and assessment of relationships and sex education as part of the PSHE curriculum. You will also receive a USB stick full of useful materials and resources.
