This free session will focus on the importance of covering economic wellbeing and financial literacy in PSHE education, and how to do it well.

The Bank of England’s ‘econoME’ resource has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from teachers and pupils since receiving our Quality Mark last year. CPD delegates will get to try ‘econoME’ first hand and explore the importance of economic wellbeing more broadly, including its development of students’ ability to make informed decisions and assess risk.

This practical session for key stage 3 and 4 teachers will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at The Queens Hotel, City Square, Leeds, LS1 1PJ. Light refreshments will be provided at the start of the session. Only those who register in advance will be able to attend.

Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so we encourage you to book right away to be able to attend.

100% of delegates who have already attended this course have rated it ‘Excellent or very good’:

“Thank you for a great session – I feel really confident and excited to deliver econoME in my school!”
