This course will equip you with practical advice, guidance and resources to recognise the unique contribution PSHE education can make to schools of a religious character.

Course overview:

We will consider the opportunities and challenges that come with leading PSHE in a faith school. In preparation for the new statutory requirements, this workshop will also provide advice and guidance on how to evaluate your current relationships education/ relationships and sex education provision and plan development within a faith context. Practical ways to raise the profile of PSHE provision will be shared with a specific focus on high quality planning, teaching and classroom delivery. Delegates will also receive a USB stick full of useful materials and resources.
