Audit tools to map how provision in other subjects contributes to PSHE

These audit tools allow PSHE coordinators and teachers to map provision in other subjects that could contribute to their PSHE programme. The curriculum audit tools provide a mapping framework for PSHE practitioners in primary and secondary schools. Based on the learning objectives in the PSHE Association Programme of Study, the audit tools go beyond a simple ‘tick box’ curriculum map, exploring not only overlap between the content of other subjects and the PSHE education programme but also the extent to which learning objectives in PSHE could realistically be achieved and evidenced if delivered through the other subject’s scheme of work.

The frameworks work best when each relevant subject (e.g. RE, English, Computing) is allocated one sheet of the spreadsheet; the subject lead for that subject completes the first 5 columns, then the PSHE lead completes the final two
