Medway Public Health Directorate relationships and sex education schemes of work for key stages 1-3

Medway Public Health Directorate have been working with the PSHE Association for a number of years to support teachers in their area to deliver high quality PSHE education as they recognise the potential long-term benefits of supporting positive health-related behaviours from a young age.

They have kindly agreed to share these resources to benefit other schools across the country so that we can provide an illustration of a spiral RSE curriculum which has been awarded the quality mark. The materials are age and stage appropriate for the needs of the Medway area so schools in different areas may need to adapt the lessons or teach them in different year groups to suit their learners, in line with best practice.
