Models of delivery for PSHE education and the use of vertical tutor groups

With pressure on the timetable, schools might be considering different models of delivery for PSHE education. The first of these two documents sets out clearly the advantages and disadvantages of the delivery models most commonly found, especially in secondary schools. The second explains clearly why PSHE education should never be taught in vertical tutor groups.

Both documents will be particularly useful for PSHE education Leads who wish to present clear arguments, for example to their school leadership teams, on the best way of organising PSHE education delivery in their school.
