NSPCC Share Aware resources

NSPCC Share Aware resources

KS2 resources and lesson plans on online safety.

The NSPCC Share Aware resources and lesson plans have been created to help primary practitioners to show KS2 pupils how to stay safe online, and how to access available help inside and outside the school.

Share Aware explores the dangers of taking and sharing personal images online and of sharing personal information.

This new downloadable resource pack includes:

  • Lesson plans that are appropriate for Key Stage 2.
  • Two presentations for you to use in class.
  • Supporting information and resources for teachers, pupils and parents/carers

The resource has been written in conjunction with teachers, producers of educational resources and experts from the NSPCC, and piloted in primary schools prior to launch.

Download the ShareAware pack free from the NSPCC website.

PSHE Association Subject Specialist, Karen Summers said of the resource:

“The Share Aware activities and materials are child-friendly and engaging and enable teachers to address different aspects of online personal safety, including the dangers of taking and sharing personal images. This resource will make a valuable contribution to high quality PSHE provision for primary-aged pupils."
