Sharing information safely online — KS3-4 home learning lesson

Sharing information safely online — KS3-4 home learning lesson

Many young people are spending more time online during this period of school closures. And while the internet brings many benefits, we all need to be wary of increasingly sophisticated online threats relating to digital fraud and identify theft. It is therefore an ideal time to introduce or revisit knowledge, skills and strategies for sharing information safely online.

Our new home learning lessons for members on sharing information safely online will help key stage 3 and 4 pupils to:

  • understand what identifying information should be kept private and what is safe to share online
  • explain the risks of sharing personal information online in relation to fraud and identity theft
  • analyse different strategies to ensure information is shared safely

This pack forms part of our range of materials to support pupils learning at home during the coronavirus school closures. Visit www.pshe-association.org.uk/C-HUB for more lessons and guidance.
