Event Bookings with the PSHE Association

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all PSHE Association bookings, including CPD workshops, conferences, bespoke training and consultancy bookings.

Payments

Payments for events organised by the PSHE Association should be received before the event date to guarantee admission on the day. If you have not received an invoice four weeks prior to the event date, please email us at info@pshe-association.org.uk. For last minute bookings we ask delegates/ attendees to ensure that payment is made as soon as possible, and within 30 days of receipt of invoice.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking, please email info@pshe-association.org.uk at the earliest opportunity, or telephone 020 7922 7950 and confirm the cancellation by email afterwards. There will be no charge if you wish to substitute a delegate on a course for someone else providing this is more than 3 days before the event date and it is notified to us by email to info@pshe-association.org.uk.  

Cancellation charges are calculated as follows:

- More than two months before the event, you will be entitled to a full refundWe reserve the right to charge a fee of £30 to cover the administrative costs of refunding and crediting the invoice.
- Between one and two months before the event, you will be entitled to a 50% refund.

- Less than one month before the event, it will not be possible to offer a refund.
- No refund will be made for non-attendance.

These terms and conditions might be waived in exceptional circumstances.

Membership

Those signing up for PSHE Association membership at the same time as a course also agree to the terms and conditions of membership and give consent for their personal data to be used in the ways outlined in the PSHE Association privacy policy.

Copyright

PSHE Association course material and resources are the copyright of the PSHE Association unless otherwise attributed.  Resources may not under any circumstances be used or duplicated in any way for commercial gain without permission from the PSHE Association. Resources may be used copyright free within your own school for your colleagues' professional development and your pupils' benefit.

Cancellation of Courses and Changes to Content

Our events and workshops are constantly updated and improved and we reserve the right to alter any of the content without prior notice. The PSHE Association will make every effort to provide the services as specified, but, if for any reason beyond its control it fails to do so, neither the PSHE Association nor its trustees or employees shall be liable for any resulting loss or damage. In such circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a credit note.

Authorisation

By submitting a booking to us, by whatever means, you are acknowledging that you have received authorisation for this expenditure from the relevant person at your institution.

Legal interpretation

The materials, training and courses provided by the PSHE Association cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither the PSHE Association nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for delegates’ actions, or those of other people reading the course notes or interpreting the training in litigation, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the training notes.
