Many PSHE leads will be using this time to review their current PSHE education curriculum — ensuring it meets the new statutory requirements for Health Education, Relationships Education (primary), and Relationships and Sex education (secondary), and to consider how they can plan and deliver effective PSHE education that meets the needs of their young people both now and in the future.
Our one-to-one consultancy sessions — conducted via Zoom remote conferencing software and offered exclusively to members of the Association — will provide colleagues with the guidance, support and advice that they require on a specific aspect of PSHE education.
Topics to choose from, for both primary and secondary settings, include:
- Am I ready for statutory Relationships Education/RSE?
- Am I ready for statutory Health Education?
- What does effective PSHE practice look like?
- A quick tour of PSHE resources (PSHE Association and Quality Assured)
All sessions will be allocated to members of the Association on a first-come basis. At this time, we are only able to offer one session slot per member school — to allow us to reach as many schools as possible.
We will announce details of how to sign up here in the next few weeks, once spaces become available. And remember, you can always contact us by phone or email in the meantime, for advice from our team of subject specialists.
