A month before membership expiry, the membership contact(s) will receive an email advising them that the membership is about to expire. The membership will be renewed after we have received notification that the member wishes to renew and we have confirmed payment. The membership will not renew automatically.
Existing members with an active membership can renew at a discounted rate.
Organisational membership is our most popular option among schools. Member Schools have the flexibility to add as many colleagues to the membership as they need, ensuring consistency.
For smaller schools, with only one member of staff planning/delivering content, individual membership is recommended. If you start an individual membership and find that you want to upgrade to an organisational one, we can arrange this for you — just get in touch with our office team. Individual membership is also a good option for independent advisors and consultants, but please note that individuals working with non-member colleagues/schools cannot distribute PSHE Association member-only resources to non-members for any purpose, as per our membership terms and conditions.
We encourage academy chains (with more than 3 schools) and local authorities to get in touch about batch membership options. We are able to offer favourable rates for LAs and academy chains that wish to sign all of their schools up for membership.
For smaller schools, with only one member of staff planning/delivering content, individual membership may be more suited to your needs and budget. If you purchase an individual membership to begin with but decide later on that you want to upgrade to an organisational one, we can arrange this for you — just get in touch with our office team. Individual membership is also a good option for independent advisors and consultants, but please note that individuals working with non-member colleagues/schools cannot distribute PSHE Association member-only resources to non-members for any purpose, as per our membership terms and conditions.
Once you've registered for organisational membership you can add colleagues from your school to the membership by selecting the 'my profile' button in the top-right of your screen then scrolling down to the button that says 'invite more colleagues'. Click on the button and and insert the name and email address for each colleague you want to invite. They should each receive an email with a link inviting them to set up their account. You can add up to ten colleagues at a time.
Please ensure that all colleagues who are added work at the school listed under the organisational membership. Academies should not share organisational membership access across different schools, but can get in touch for a batch membership quote.
You will be sent a reminder to renew before your membership is due to expire, or you can log-in at any time and easily renew through the ‘my profile’ page (top-right, purple button). If you have any problems with your renewal, or you need to renew on behalf of a colleague, then send us an email to info@pshe-association.org.uk
Yes you can! Just follow the steps when registering for membership or renewing and select 'Request an invoice to pay later by BACS/cheque' instead of 'Pay now by credit/debit card'. You'll also have a chance to enter a Purchase Order number (if applicable). Please note, if you do choose to pay by BACS/cheque the membership won't be activated until payment is processed by our office team, and we'll send a confirmation email once everything is up and running.
If you need to procure a membership (or renew) on behalf of an organisation/colleague then email us to request an invoice at info@pshe-association.org.uk and we can sort this out on your behalf.
