Sue joined the Association in August 2011. She works on membership, training, events and all the general administrative tasks required to run a busy office. She deals with some of the financial and governance aspects of the organisation – including providing quotations for bespoke training/consultancy for local authorities, academy groups, health education teams or individual schools.
Sue has worked in schools and education organisations since 1998. She was Project Coordinator for the National PSHE CPD Programme with Babcock 4S for 5 years from 2006 prior to joining the PSHE Association. As part of the national team she worked on the management and development of the national programme, coordinating approximately 1800 participants each year and working with local authority advisers throughout the country.
Sue’s interests include books, theatre, travel and food. She reads a great deal – mainly on the train to and from work, and loves going to the theatre in London. Sue enjoys cooking, eating out and travelling around the world sampling different cuisines.
