Trishna started her career in Education in 2005, in a range of pastoral roles across London schools, giving her a holistic understanding of students and their needs. In 2014, she qualified as a teacher and went on to teach PSHE education and Citizenship. Trishna also has experience in coordinating the school council in her role as acting Assistant Headteacher, and used this opportunity to develop PSHE education to meet the needs of her pupils.
Trishna has also worked as a secondary PSHE education Teaching and Learning consultant for Hackney, and has extensive experience in supporting a range of schools in developing schemes of work, leadership and management of PSHE education as well as tailored support for all aspects of the subject. Trishna is passionate and enthusiastic about PSHE education and the power the subject has to empower young people — keeping them safe, happy and healthy whilst also preparing them for life beyond school.
In her spare time, Trishna enjoys travelling, creative writing, spending time with family and friends, adventuring up mountains… and snuggling with her cats on the sofa.
